Town Hall Remodeling and Temporary Relocation
Dear Residents of Washington,
We are delighted to announce that our town has been awarded a grant for the much-needed remodeling of our Town Hall. As many of you are aware, our Town Hall has been in need of repairs for some time. This project will address these issues and provide better office and storage space.
While we are excited about these improvements, we are equally committed to preserving the historical part of our Town Hall. We believe that this balance of old and new will serve as a symbol of our town’s rich history and bright future.
The construction phase is estimated to take approximately five months. We have begun packing up the current office, and construction is expected to begin sometime in early June. During this period, the Town Hall will be relocated to a temporary building located directly behind the current Town Hall. This will ensure that town services remain accessible to residents as much as possible during the remodeling process.
Given the limited space in our temporary location, we would like to remind you of the various payment options available:
1.     Auto Draft: We can set up an auto draft for your payments.
2.     Mail: You can mail your payment to PO BOX 127, Washington, OK.
3.     Online Payment: You can pay online at Washington.paymybill.net using the ID code 7309311. You will need your account number located on your bill. This link can also be found on our website, washingtontownhall.com.
There may also be short periods of lapse in phone service during this process. Please feel free to use the staff emails for questions and concerns; I will list those below.
